The Polyskimmer is a floating surface skimmer that is made from 100% polypropylene. This unit was designed for situations where stainless steel proves to be unsuitable for either chemical or reasons of safety.
Polypropylene is highly resistant to alkaline and acid solutions as well as hydrocarbons solvents and a large variety of other aggressive chemicals.
The floats in this unit are originally ballasted for work in fresh water. This however this can be easily changed to suit the density of the liquids that need to be skimmed.
